A surprising graphic work, rescued from the covers made by Enrique Herreros for the weekly magazine “La Codorniz”.
The value of our exhibition is displaying, for the first time and in a homogeneous way, a rigorous selection of the best cover works made by Herreros for “La Codorniz”, to which this artist dedicated his whole life and where he enjoyed a certain amount of freedom, something which was inconceivable in the majority of publications of that time. At the same time, we believe this exhibition is also useful to understand the ups and downs and the meaning of “La Codorniz” in that post war period, as well as its importance in the development of the Spanish society to to this day.
