A photographic essay developed in an almost literary style that flows through a contemporary Morocco.
The photographer Alfredo Cáliz does not present a frozen in time Morocco, covered with stereotypes. His photographs rather reflect his personal experience; a critical experience that allows him to modify the way to approach subjects and forces him to reflect on the necessary formal solutions to represent them.
More than fifty black and white snapshots of the country are gathered in the exhibition. The images, the result of fifty of the author’s trips during the last ten years, show the life of workers, children, farmers, women, both young and old.
