Ecosystems. Fragile worlds

Born in Candeleda (Avila) on June 22nd, 1953. He has resided in Madrid since 1956. He begins to practice all by himself the photography of nature in 1970 at the age of 17. In 1974 He manages to publish his first photos in national media, and in 1976 becomes the official photographer of the Incafo publishing house, publisher of the Periplo magazine and specialized in nature books and trips. His restlessness takes him to become independent in 1978, although he maintained the collaboration with this publishing house but also with other magazines and editorials of Spain (Anaya, Santillana, Espasa-Calpe, Salvat, Planeta, Del Prado, etc.) and the foreigner, including GEO, Audubon and National Geographic (book department). He travels to different countries of Africa and South America. Since 1982 He makes new articles for organisms of the country and different communities. In 1987 He creates his own publishing seal called Fonat editorial, in which he publishes 9 books and 3 CD-ROM’s about nature and environment. In 1991 the Minister of Industry, Tourism and Commerce grants him with the medal of the tourist merit for his news articles in this specialty. In 1998 he begins in another different project although related: producing and developing exhibitions of environmental education with the photography as main material. His first exhibition was about Iberian prey birds followed by the Ecosystems and the Birds. Travelers without Borders, that in recent years has crossed around a hundred Spanish cities being installed in Museums, Culture Houses, airports, fairgrounds, shopping centers, etc. At the present time he continues collaborating with different public organisms making new articles about tourism and nature all around Spain.
